New Year's Day and the chance to run two events on ONE day. Hove Prom parkrun took place at 9 am and Brighton and Hove parkrun at 10.30. Just time to travel between the two without incurring any speeding fines.
Dave, Jane and Ben came with me which was great, although the normally reliable alarm clock that is Ben didn't wake them up until 7.45 so it was all speed ahead to Hove seafront. Surprise, surprise Julie and Mike turned up too! So lovely to see them. We did start the Hove Prom run a little bit late but the organisers were fine about it, thank goodness.
Over to Hove Park for 5k number two and another leg stretch round the park. Dave was very pleased to have completed his first 10k for quite a while and we both decided to pay Brighton another parkrun visit in the near future. That's the plan anyway.
Home via Southdowns Garden Centre for a well deserved breakfast treat.
See pics below - a rather reluctant Ben.
Oh, by the way, did I tell you I've entered the Jerusalem Half Marathon in March...............?
